Baby Story:
The Pregnancy
We were so excited when we found out that I was pregnant! We took the test one morning and made our
doctor's appointment the following day. We family and friends were all so excited. We couldn't believe that
we got pregnant so quick. I really enjoyed being pregnant (except for the morning sickness that lasted
4 1/2 months) and experienced very little discomfort. We decided to find out the sex of our baby and found
out that we were having a girl. Throughout the whole pregnancy we could hardly wait to see our baby and
hold her our my arms.

The Labor
Well, my contractions began at 4:00 AM on February 29th and I waited until 5:00 to wake up Michael. He
was really excited that the day had finally arrived, but I was in a lot of pain. We decided at 10 that I better go
to the hospital, where my mother joined us for the delivery. She was so thrilled at the privilege of witnessing
the birth of her first grandchild. Well, 10 hours and an epidural later our bundle of joy was born! The delivery
went perfectly!

The Name
Maelynn Ann was named after my sister Heather Mae, me Amy Lynn and my other sister Lesa Ann.
Put that together and you have her very special name - Maelynn Ann.
